PM rules to restore rail passenger traffic with Kaliningrad

MOSCOW, Aug 5 (PRIME) -- Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed a ruling to restore rail passenger traffic between Kaliningrad and other cities for all Russian citizens, the government’s press office said Wednesday.

“Passenger railway communication between Kaliningrad and other cities is open to all citizens of Russia. This ruling was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin,” the statement said.

The traffic was ceased on April 6 due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus. On July 1, the traffic became available from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Kaliningrad for those who have registration in the Kaliningrad Region.
